LONGITUDINAL MICROWAVES OF THE ONDASTRETCH FILM. THE FILM THAT, TOGETHER WITH THE MOST RECENT BIO-ORIENTED, IS THE BASIC FOR ALL AKRO BRAIN PRODUCTS.
The longitudinal reinforcement microwaves with modular size of the base film Ondastretch are generated during the extrusion of the film itself. Their primary function is to increase the tear resistance and significantly improve the stretching of the film in the horizontal direction. Furthermore, if subjected to transverse tensions caused by non-homogeneous product shapes, they compact and stabilize the palletized unit in the best possible way. When wrapping delicate packages, the reinforcement waves leave no traces of incision. Being incorporated in the film, during the pre-stretch phase they do not generate detachment phenomena which cause interruptions in the production cycle.
The total thickness of the Ondastretch film normally varies from 8 to 17 my since the very high toughness of the film does not require greater thicknesses however achievable.
